What is Profits Unlimited?
Profits Unlimited is a financial newsletter offered by Paul Mampilly and published by Banyan Hill Publishing.
I have covered Paul’s other offerings via Banyan Hill like “America 2.0″
The newsletter shares investment recommendations that are uncovered using a variety of investment strategies.
Paul has also written a book called Profits Unlimited (you can grab a copy for free if you cover the shipping costs). It encapsulates the general theme of the research service.
Paul runs it with a group of expert investors. Together they share insights on current trends and investment opportunities in technology, including blockchain, Internet of Things, and other eye-catching developments.
When you join the service, Paul says it’s like “you are a fly on the wall in an expert investor’s kitchen table.” You have your ears on what tells his friends and clients and your eyes on how he handles his investments.
Your experience level as a trader does not count. You can follow his advice as a total novice because he lays everything out in easy-to-understand English – he doesn’t do investor’s jargon.

Who is Paul Mampilly?
Before we go into what the Profits Unlimited newsletter covers, we should mention a couple of things about the guy behind it.
Paul Mampilly is not new to the world of trading and investments. He has worked for a few renowned Wall Street firms for the past two decades. He has worked for Swiss investment banks, the Royal Bank of Scotland, just to mention a few.
He has also been a money manager and was once put in charge of billions of dollars’ worth of investments. His positive influence on a hedge fund that grew its portfolio by a large margin during his stint managing it earned him plaudits from Barron’s.
Paul retired early from his prestigious job on Wall Street and decided to keep his head down and concentrate on his family. However, he soon realized that he had to be involved with the world he had left behind to help individual investors access information that could enable them to be better investors.
That’s when he started writing newsletters via Banyan Hill Publishing like True Momentum, Extreme Fortunes, Rapid Profit Trader, among others.

What Paul covers for his Profits Unlimited Subscribers
Most of what Paul and his team do is scour the tech industry looking for the newest trends. He finds innovative companies that are leading a new trend and are well-positioned to see explosive growth.
These are the kinds of opportunities that ordinary investors can’t recognize until it is too late and the first-mover advantage has gone.
He prefers investing in a smaller company that is positioned for growth than a bigger company that has realized its potential.
With the small company, he knows that there are large profits to be earned whereas, for the bigger one, the growth opportunity has been maxed out.
For example, he claims to have invested in Netflix in 2008 while it was still a small company because he believed that streaming movies and TV shows online was about to become big business. By the time he closed his Netflix position, he had earned returns of 634%.

How does Profits Unlimited Work?
Profits Unlimited is a paid newsletter service. Therefore, you pay to have access to the information that Paul sends out with his regular newsletter emails.
These emails come every month with stock recommendations. With each recommendation, Paul sends instructions on how to execute the trade and also includes details like the price at which you should buy the stock.
Paul also recommends that you institute a stop-loss order on all your trades. A stop loss is a pre-determined price at which your position automatically closes if the price falls below it.
This minimizes the risk of you losing a large chunk of your investment if the stock plummets.
Subscription Fee
The annual subscription fee for the digital version of Profits Unlimited is $47 although the price may vary depending on the period during which you are accessing it. Confirm with the official page rather than rely on this figure.
The deluxe version is $129 because it has a print version; however, I think a print version is unnecessary and a digital version in most cases is enough.
Guarantee
Profits Unlimited has a 365-day money-back guarantee. If at any point during the guaranteed period you feel that it is not serving your purpose, you can ask for your money back.

Merits of Profits Unlimited
- Paul manages risk because he institutes stop losses of 8-12% on each stock.
- Profits Unlimited is suited to all types of traders irrespective of their skill levels. For example, it is friendly to the novices because all the instructions are put out in easy-to-understand English.
- The subscription fee for the digital version of the newsletter is also quite low and affordable.
Demerits of Profits Unlimited
Not every recommendation that Paul sends makes money. Some can result in losses but that shouldn’t come as a surprise because no investor trades without incurring some losses.

Is Profits Unlimited Legit?
Profits Unlimited is legit.
Now, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about Paul Mampilly when I first encountered his adverts. He talked up his successes and rarely mentioned his failures in a presentation. My opinion of him changed when I realized that it is a marketing ploy that is quite prevalent in the newsletter-writing business.
If you objectively examine his recommendations, you will realize that he has done relatively well.
My Final Word About Profits Unlimited
I would recommend that you give Profits Unlimited a try because it is legit.
It is written and edited by Paul Mampilly (and a team of analysts), who we have established is a credible analyst with a good track record.
The past results have been quite decent, to be honest. Although some recommendations have registered losses, the ones that generate profits outweigh them thus giving the service an overall positive rating.
