Introduction to Tom Gentile’s Money Hour
Money Hour is an investment advisory service offered by Tom Gentile and published by Money Map Press.
It was the feature of a presentation that was recently released by Tom. The video is in the interview format and the interviewer Megan Gunning, who describes herself as a 42-year-old wife, mother, and part-time hair stylist, takes Tom to task so that he can explain how the newsletter works.
The impression you get is that Tom’s recommendations proved fruitful to her as she was looking for an easy and effective way to make money in 2020; investing in the market worked the trick.
She says that Tom hosted live trade recommendation calls via zoom during which he recommended simple trades.

Who Is Behind Money Hour?
Tom Gentile considers himself as the number one pattern trader in America (which should not be confused with a pattern day trader). In the presentation, he brings up a statistic that indicates that out of his recommendations, he has had a 91% success rate. Out of his most frequently successful picks, each of trade lasts just 24 minutes on average.
Tom is on the editorial team of Money Map Press where he edits a couple of premium investment research services. His services include Microcurrency Trader, Alpha-9 Investing, Rocket Wealth Initiative, and Flipping Stocks Club, just to mention a few.
His specialties are options trading and cryptocurrencies although he also dabbles with other kinds of securities once in a while. Ever since he started offering these services that are targeted at retail investors, his goal is to educate them on how to spot big return, low risk trade opportunities.

How Does Tom Gentile’s Money Hour Work?
In the presentation (Beat The Experts) Tom mentions that when you sign up for the newsletter, you are entitled to live trade recommendations and that they possess a few defining characteristics:
- After recommending hundreds of trades, he realized that he was most successful when he recommended options on 12 stocks. These are stocks of big, stable companies and they include Netflix, Facebook, Roku, Apple, AMD, Micron Technology, Nvidia, Disney, Twitter, Snap, Microsoft, and Beyond Meat.
- These recommendations were sent out on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which is when, according to Tom, there is enough volatility to drive the desirable short-term moves.
- His recommendations were most profitable when the trades were placed between 9.30 AM and 12.30 PM.
- He kept his plays open for around 60 minutes with the average trade lasting about 24 minutes.
Therefore, he sticks by those guidelines when making his predictions.
To his subscribers, he sends out something called a trade companion, which is an elaborate email explaining what logic was behind the recommendation he picks. The trade companion has the name of the targeted stock, detailed instructions on how to execute the play, the exact time to enter the position, and how to structure the trade so that it closes automatically in some form of stop order.
In addition to the emails, you also receive a link to a Zoom call in which Tom explains the logic behind the trade as well as why he is recommending. It is complementary to the to the Trade Companion.
When you join Money Hour, you also receive a set of training videos called 60-Minute Trader in which Tom explains how he trades options as well as how he identifies the patterns that inform his decisions.

Is Tom Gentile’s Money Hour Legit?
Tom Gentile’s Money Hour is a legit newsletter.
One of the main reasons I concluded this is that Tom is a legitimate investment guru. He has been active for a long time and was the co-founder of the education platform called Optionetics. He and his colleagues sold the company to a brokerage firm for millions of dollars.
He is part of the Money Map Press editorial team and I have reviewed his work here before. Each time I have, I gave him a clean bill of health as a legit guru.
However, this is not an endorsement of Tom because I believe that each reader should objectively decide whether Tom’s approach to trading suits their individual investment strategy.

Tom Gentile’s Money Hour Conclusion
Tom Gentile’s Money Hour has been getting attention due to the presentation titled “Beat The Experts!” that was recently released to promote it. He recommends option plays to his subscribers.
In the presentation, Tom summarizes his approach as follows:
He has an algorithm that identifies patterns in his 12 stocks. When he is confident that he has picked up on a pattern, he recommends an option trade that can take advantage of it. This means that you can make money whether the market is going up or down.
Before you sign up for the newsletter, you should do a bit more research into its dealings to ascertain that it suits your style because at $1,495 per year, it is not cheap.
